Iron Ring 2001
The Iron Ring ceremony for the fourth year MMS class was held on Thursday, March 8th. I'd been waiting a long time for this day. I was thrilled to get my ring from Gord Thibault - a friend I met the first morning of Orientation, Tuesday September 5, 1989. (Gord's also a former roommate.)
MMS 0T1 celebrated after Iron Ring in style. Our class donated the highest average pledge for
GRADitude, earning us a case of
wine from the Engineering Alumni Association. The cheese was supplied by Yannic. The party was supplied by all! (By the end of the night I have
no idea how I remained standing. (And fortunately Bart didn't get a picture of the time I actually did lose my footing!)
